When your marriage has been invaded by sexual addiction, it can feel like there is no hope. We have been there. As the betrayed partner, you may be in shock, filled with a myriad of shifting emotions. As the addict, you likely feel ashamed and helpless. We are here to offer support to partners of sex addicts, through individual or marriage counseling. We believe in respecting your needs and choices, and will move forward with you at your pace. For addicts who truly want to change, we want you to know that is possible, but it requires hard work. We can guide you in the right direction. Take heart in the truth that marriages can survive this, heal, and even thrive.

What you won’t find here is false hope, pressure to forgive or reconcile before you are ready, or blame for your betraying spouse’s choices. As Bible-believing Christians, you will never hear us tell you that the solution to your spouse’s infidelity is to pray harder, have more sex, or submit more. We’re not here to beat around the bush; you’ll find us to be honest and straight-forward, so let’s start with some real talk. This journey is challenging, and as the injuring party, the addict is the one who has to take ownership and action to do the work. But for complete healing to take place after the trauma and upheaval of infidelity, both spouses need support.

We specialize in the treatment of spouses of sex addicts and couples, using the Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model developed by Dr. Barbara Steffens and the Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists. We’re also a married couple fully equipped to support you on your path to healing, both as Christians who are thriving past this and as professionals trained to support you.

Dear Ella and Jeff,
It is with extreme gratitude that this letter is written. January 2013, my husband and I sat with you for a 3-day intensive. It was a very dark time in our marriage as I had learned a year prior that my husband was struggling with sexual addiction. We had tried a number of other intensives, yet we had not found treatment that had been effective in helping my husband achieve long term sobriety and that was sensitive to the extreme trauma I was experiencing.
